About

Your potential is waiting. Not just in one area – in ALL areas.
Most people spend their lives building lopsided success. They excel at work but neglect their health. They focus on their body but ignore their spirit. They develop skills but avoid the hard conversations that would strengthen their relationships. They chase financial goals while their creativity withers.
This scattered approach keeps you stuck at a fraction of your true potential.
Lee Murphy + is where ambitious people come to build complete lives: strong bodies, sharp minds, aligned spirits and meaningful relationships. This isn’t about perfection – it’s about integration. It’s about understanding that true growth happens when every area of your life supports and amplifies the others. I’m not here as someone who has it all figured out. I’m here as someone actively living this journey of complete human development, documenting every struggle, every breakthrough, and every system that works – or doesn’t. From marathon training that builds mental resilience, to creative practices that unlock innovation, to financial systems that create freedom, to relationships that fuel growth rather than drain energy.
This is real growth for real people who refuse to settle for partial success.
You’ve spent enough time building a lopsided life. Your complete potential is waiting, and it’s time to claim it.
The journey to your fullest self starts now.

What Makes the Plus sign in Lee Murphy +

The “+” at the end of my name represents the positive steps that literally saved my life and pulled me out of a darkness that was consuming every part of my being: mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially.

Growing up, I was searching for belonging, for something solid to stand on. That search led me down paths I never intended to walk. I found myself caught up in street life, making choices that seemed to offer connection and purpose but instead delivered chaos and destruction. Eventually the inevitable happened—I ended up behind bars, staring at the wreckage of decisions that had spiraled completely out of control.

My family never gave up on me. They fought harder than I was fighting for myself, doing everything they could to help me turn away from a life that was leading nowhere good. But even with their love and support, I kept running. I tried escaping through religion. It solved some things, but being impatient for a quick spiritual fix would never solve everything. I ran away to stay with distant family members, hoping a geography jump would change me. I used people’s kindness to get by, taking advantage of anyone willing to help. I was living in a personal hell, bouncing from one temporary solution to another, never addressing the real issues.

Nothing worked because I wasn’t working. I was trying to change my circumstances without changing myself.

Then life delivered a blow that shattered everything I thought I understood about what mattered. I lost my little brother to leukemia.

Watching him fight a battle he didn’t win, while I was wasting the life he would have given anything to keep living—that changed something fundamental in me. Here was someone who faced his challenges with more courage and grace than I had ever shown, someone who squeezed more life and love into his shortened time than I had managed in all my years of running and hiding.

His death didn’t just break my heart; it broke open my perspective. I realized I had been squandering the gift of life while he had fought so hard to hold onto it. I was throwing away opportunities and relationships while he would have treasured every single day I was taking for granted. I love you Lashaun!

A major turning point came when I lost my job—another consequence of the unstable life I’d built. But this time, instead of running or looking for another quick fix, I made a different choice. I decided to bet on myself in a way I never had before.

I went back to school, not just to get a degree but to truly educate myself. I dove deep into learning skills that mattered, connecting with people who had the knowledge and wisdom I desperately needed. I started at the bottom of my intended career path, taking entry-level positions that gave me real experience and taught me what it meant to earn something through dedication and hard work.

I began taking care of my body, understanding that physical health wasn’t separate from mental and spiritual health—they were all connected. I learned to make wiser financial choices, not just about money but about how I invested my time and energy. Most importantly, I started taking care of my thoughts, allowing my spirit to guide me toward who I was truly meant to be, not what the world or my past mistakes said I should be.

Each positive step forward—each “plus”—built on the last one. I discovered that transformation isn’t about perfecting one area of life while neglecting others. Real change happens when you understand that everything is connected: your physical health affects your mental clarity, your spiritual alignment influences your relationships, your financial stability impacts your ability to serve others, and your personal growth touches every single area of your existence.

Why Whole-Person Transformation Matters?

Too many people are living fractured lives, excelling in one area while struggling in others. They’re successful at work but their health is failing. They’re physically fit but emotionally disconnected. They’re financially secure but spiritually empty. They’re socially popular but personally unfulfilled.

I’ve lived that fragmented existence, and I’ve learned firsthand that partial success isn’t really success at all. When one area of your life is out of alignment, it affects everything else. But when you commit to growing in all areas simultaneously—when you embrace whole-person transformation—something powerful happens. Each area begins to strengthen and support the others.

Your morning workout doesn’t just build muscle; it builds the discipline that helps you tackle challenging projects at work. Your meditation practice doesn’t just bring spiritual peace; it improves your ability to listen and connect in relationships. Your commitment to financial responsibility doesn’t just build wealth; it builds the confidence and freedom to pursue your true purpose.

This integrated approach to growth is what separates people who achieve lasting transformation from those who remain stuck in cycles of partial progress.

The Journey Continues

I share my story not because I’ve arrived at some perfect destination, but because I’m still on the journey—and I’ve learned that the journey itself is where the real living happens. Every day, I’m still making choices that either move me toward my fullest potential or away from it. I’m still learning, still growing, still discovering new ways that different areas of life can support and amplify each other.

What’s different now is that I have systems, practices, and a understanding of how to navigate challenges without losing sight of the bigger picture. I’ve learned how to build a life that’s not just successful in one dimension, but fulfilling across all dimensions of human experience.

The struggles haven’t disappeared—they’ve become teachers. The setbacks haven’t vanished—they’ve become opportunities for deeper growth. The work hasn’t gotten easier—it’s gotten more meaningful.

Your Complete Potential Awaits

You’ve spent enough time building a unbalanced life. Whether you’re excelling in your career but neglecting your health, crushing your fitness goals but struggling in relationships, or achieving financial success while feeling spiritually empty—you know there’s more available to you.

Your complete potential isn’t just waiting—it’s calling to you. It’s in the integration of all the parts of yourself that you’ve been developing separately. It’s in the understanding that true success isn’t about perfecting one area while ignoring others, but about creating a life where every part supports and enhances every other part.

The journey to your fullest self doesn’t start tomorrow or next week or when you have more time. It starts with the next choice you make.
